Elkin is located just 75 minutes north of Charlotte. We hope you will make a weekend of the wedding! The Yadkin Valley has a lot to offer. The region is home to the Yadkin Valley Wine Trail as well as Stone Mountain State Park. Located in the foothills of North Carolina the roads roll through forests and farmlands while offering majestic views of the Blue Ridge.

Frog Holler

Frog Holler Cabins are situated right across the creek from the Elkin Creek Vineyard. There are only 5 of them but they have a ton of personality. If you are looking to make a weekend of the wedding these cabins are perfect! The cabins even host a tour of many of the Yadkin Valley wineries.

Big Elkin Creek Farm

The rustic cabin at Big Elkin Creek Farm is a true oasis, tucked away in the foothills of NC. Sleeps 6 and is fully furnished and completely updated. Guests can choose the solitude of the farm, visit the nearby historic town of Elkin and it's nearby wineries, or take in the beauty of the Blue Ridge Parkway and State Parks.

Number 1 Fairfield Inn in the country 6 years in a row! Great hotel with standard hotel amenities and just off I-77. The hotel is located only 10 mins from Elkin Creek Vineyard. Great overnight option if you don't want to drive all the way back to Charlotte and beyond!

Elkin's Old Farm House

This home is in the heart of Yadkin Valley Wine Country with 5 vineyards within 10 min. form the home and 20 plus vineyards in the area.  This home has a unique floor plan as it is an old farm house but it is cozy and offers a lot of country charm! Before the wedding enjoy a few quiet moments rocking on the porch!

Klondike Cabins

Located at Grassy Creek Vineyard these cabins are just 8 minutes north of the wedding venue. This vineyard boasts 100 acres of rolling fields and forests, 4 of its own cabins, one main cabin that can accommodate a large group and a couple of smaller cabins for smaller parties.

Elkin DollHouse

The home is within a half mile  to the quaint downtown Elkin, where there are wineries, a brewery, restaurants, and soon to have Reeves theater open as a music venue. Kayaking, canoeing, hiking Stone Mountain, Elkin Valley Trail all very close by. With two bedrooms, two baths with two separate sitting rooms this home sleeps 6 comfortably.
